Thanksgiving dinner is the gift that keeps on giving, since you can keep gobbling up those delicious leftovers for days.

However, there are only so many turkey sandwiches you can eat, and they need to be eaten within a certain amount of time. The USDA recommends that leftovers be eaten within 4 days, so whatever’s not finished by Cyber Monday should be tossed out – or at least moved to the freezer.

Thanksgiving Leftovers for Breakfast

Why wait to get started? Kick-start Black Friday shopping with a breakfast bake, mixing turkey with eggs, cheese and butter.

Turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes can also mix with eggs in a breakfast burrito, and a savory breakfast hash can star turkey, stuffing and dressing topped with a fried egg.

Lunch Leftovers

Turkey chili makes an all-star game day lunch on a weekend spent watching football. If you prefer soup, leftover turkey teams wonderfully with veggies and chicken stock.
