The Tajin we know was first bottled and sold in 1985, and now it is sold all over the World. Tajin “clasico” is the first and most popular spice mix, although the brand has expanded to make a hotter Habanero version, a sweeter, milder “Twist” version, and hot sauces as well.

What is tajin seasoning made of?

The genius of Tajin is that it combines dehydrated lime and powdered chilis, so you don’t have to squeeze the lime. Powdered lime is an intense shot of tart flavor. Tajin also has a bit of salt and a tiny bit of anti-caking agent to keep it from clumping. It’s gluten-free and free of the major allergens, so sprinkle away!
