What to Expect

We know eating healthy is important for both physical and mental wellbeing, but what does “eating healthy” mean? It may mean something different to everyone. Your registered dietitian will take your dietary restrictions, varying health conditions, relationship with food, culture, ability and desire to cook, and more into consideration to teach you how to nourish your body on your terms. This two-way video chat gives you the flexibility to work with a registered online nutritionist from the comfort of your home, or anywhere else you have internet connection — no waiting room, no hassle.

While there’s an enormous amount of dietary and nutrition information available, it can sometimes be overwhelming and confusing to understand what is right for you. Registered dietitians use a hands-on approach to help you easily understand what information is accurate and relevant to your unique situation. Whether you’re looking for nutrition education on specific health conditions, ways to add more nutrients to your meals or want answers to your burning nutrition questions, we can help. Our registered dietitians are specially trained to provide expert guidance on making complex nutrition science easy and actionable. Many individuals find their nutrition goals are best supported by working with their registered nutrition counselor over the course of three to six appointments. This gives time to implement in real life what is learned in an appointment and add in new nutrition skills when ready.

Our team of registered dietitians can provide a variety of nutrition coaching services through Telenutrition, such as:

  • Healthy alternatives, delicious recipes and meal ideas that work with your busy schedule
  • Nutrition counseling based on any medical conditions (we can communicate with your medical provider)
  • Guidance on nutritious foods to add to your grocery list
  • Advice on how to navigate the grocery store
  • Tips for feeding your family nourishing food while sticking to a budget
