Yes, customers with SNAP EBT benefits can now pay using their SNAP EBT card online for delivery, save their SNAP EBT card on their online wallet and split their payment with another card. Any fees that may apply to the order must be covered on another form of payment such as a credit or debit card.
Customers are not authorized to use SNAP EBT cards to pay for any non-SNAP eligible items, tips, delivery fees, ordering fees or convenience fees that may apply to online order. Non-SNAP eligible items, tips, delivery fees, ordering fees or convenience fees must be paid for using other payment methods such as credit or debit cards.
The SNAP EBT card can only be authorized by customer pin entry at the time of checkout, so we can only charge the amount that was authorized at that time. The backup card will get charged if the final total at the time of fulfillment exceeds the original total shown at checkout. Examples of what may cause this to happen:
