In order to be labeled extra virgin the olive oil must have less than 1 oleic acid content and meet the standards of flavor color clarity and aroma. Dell Alpe Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a completely natural product the result of cold pressing specially selected olives. It undergoes absolutely no chemical treatment. This oil is best used in salad dressing marinades sauces or in any cooking where the delicate flavor of olives is desired.
