It all started in Gab’s mom’s kitchen. Using beeswax from her neighbor, Gab was determined to create a perfect lip balm—not too greasy, and not too waxy. Gab hit on something very right and has been making her perfect lip balms (smooches and butters) for over 30 years! She does this with a smile on her face and in her heart. Her dedication shows in every aspect of her Mom-Squad run, Woman-owned, Maine-based company. Gab has always worked hard to create a supportive and sustainable company, from ingredients and packaging to company culture. She shares her time and expertise fueling the Gabgirls Program—her passion project: offering mentorship, workshops and small business incubators for young girls and women interested in entrepreneurship.
