Sushi Chef® Sesame Seed
Sushi Chef sesame seeds are the kind used in the finest Japanese restaurants. They have a delicate flavor and make an attractive and delicious addition to a number of Japanese dishes. They can be sprinkled on vegetables or salads, ground and added to dipping sauces, or mixed into rice dishes.
- Sesame seeds are best if dry roasted just before their use
- Put the seeds in a heavy ungreased pan and place over medium heat
- Shake the pan occasionally until the seeds turn golden brown (about one minute)
- Remove from heat immediately and serve
