Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Skillet
A one-skillet meal makes for a dinner that’s easy on everyone. Plus, this healthy, hearty meal is loaded with fresh vegetables, smoked sausage and shrimp.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 (14 oz.) package Zatarain’s Cajun Style 100% Pork Smoked Sausage, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 pound large (31-40 ct.) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1⁄2 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
- 2 cups Kroger® Instant Microwave White Rice, prepared according to package
- 2 green onions, sliced
Directions
- Add oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until lightly browned. Once meat is browned, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add bell peppers and onion. Cook until softened. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Season with Cajun seasoning and toss to coat.
- Serve over rice and top with green onion. Refrigerate leftovers.
